The canoe trip was a fun experience for us. We all
enjoyed the trip. The first site where we were supposed
to stay at, was already taken, so we went further down
the river. We found a clearing along the C&O Canal that
would be a good place to set up camp, so we asked
permission to camp at this location. We were putting up
tents in the rain, by the time we finished it stopped
raining.
In the morning we had an omelet for breakfast
which some of us helped make. After breakfast we
put our belongings in the canoes and left for the
other site. We got there earlier then we should
have. We all had a good time and some newer
scouts learned what the poisonous leaves look like.
